Our Philosophy

Built with privacy at the core

GPT SmartKit was designed from day one to do one thing: help you work smarter — without knowing anything about you. Here is exactly what that means in practice.

No personal data collected or stored
We do not ask for your name, email, or any identifying information. Nothing about you is saved on our servers.
No analytics or tracking scripts
There are no third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording tools running on this site or in the extension.
Inputs processed temporarily
When you generate a response, your input is sent to our API only to produce the result. It is not logged, stored, or used for any other purpose.
Local-only saved data
If you save prompts or settings, they are stored in your browser's local storage or extension storage — never on a remote server.
API Transparency

What happens when you generate a prompt

We use a secure server-side API to generate AI responses on your behalf — so you never need an API key, and nothing sensitive ever touches your device. Here is the exact flow, step by step.

You enter your prompt or instruction
Your input lives entirely in your browser until you explicitly trigger an action.

A POST request is sent to our secure API
Only the content required to generate a response is included — no identity data, no metadata, no tracking.

The API processes your request temporarily
Our server receives the input, generates the AI response, and returns it immediately. Nothing is logged or persisted.

The result is shown to you instantly
The response is displayed in your browser. After that, neither we nor the API holds any record of it.

No API keys on your device. All OpenAI communication happens server-side. Your browser never sees or stores any AI provider credentials.

Why we request these permissions

Chrome extensions must declare every permission they use. We use only the three below — the minimum needed for the extension to work. Here is exactly what each one does and why.

You can clear all locally stored data at any time via your browser or extension settings. We do not retain copies.
